Bungee is a bold, condensed display typeface with a strong urban and signage-inspired character. It draws from the visual language of painted street signs and vertical marquee lettering, giving it a confident, blocky presence that commands attention at large sizes. The letterforms are upright and geometric with thick strokes and tight spacing, making it feel assertive without being aggressive. It reads as energetic and contemporary, with a nod to mid-century American commercial lettering that keeps it grounded rather than trendy.

Bungee works well for event branding and promotional materials where you need a headline that stops people mid-scroll. It fits naturally in gaming or sports contexts where energy and impact matter, particularly for team names, tournament graphics, or app store visuals. It also performs well in editorial design for culture, music, or nightlife publications where the urban aesthetic reinforces the content rather than fighting it.

Best suited for: Bungee excels in event posters, gaming interfaces, sports graphics, and promotional campaigns where bold headlines need immediate visual impact and commanding presence.

Design considerations: As a display-only typeface with a single regular weight, Bungee works best at larger sizes where its geometric letterforms and tight spacing create maximum impact. The condensed proportions and thick strokes make it particularly effective for short text runs rather than extended copy.

Pairing guidance: Pair Bungee's bold display role with Oswald for structured supporting headlines, Lato for flexible body text and UI elements across multiple weights, or Permanent Marker for casual accent text that echoes Bungee's energetic character.
