Readex Pro is a clean, geometric sans-serif with a distinctly modern and neutral character. It was designed with broad language support in mind, including Arabic script, which gives it a structured, purposeful appearance that feels considered rather than decorative. The letterforms are open and balanced, with consistent stroke widths and generous spacing that make it highly legible at a range of sizes. It has a professional, no-nonsense personality that sits comfortably between warm and clinical, making it versatile without being bland.
Readex Pro works well as a UI font for dashboards, apps, or web platforms where readability across multiple languages is a priority. It is a solid choice for international brands or organizations that need a typeface capable of handling both Latin and Arabic content without switching fonts. It also performs well in editorial contexts like news or report layouts, where clear hierarchy and sustained reading comfort matter more than stylistic flair.
Best suited for: Recommended for multilingual digital interfaces, international brand identity systems, editorial layouts, and content platforms requiring consistent legibility across Latin and Arabic scripts.
Design considerations: The geometric construction and open letterforms support readability across six weight options, from 200 to 700, accommodating flexible hierarchy needs. Its neutral character and broad script support make it particularly suited to contexts where cultural inclusivity and functional clarity take precedence over distinctive styling.
Pairing guidance: Readex Pro's geometric restraint pairs effectively with serif companions like Playfair Display for editorial contrast or Noto Serif for formal multilingual content, while DM Mono complements it in technical or data-heavy layouts where code or tabular information requires monospace clarity alongside the sans-serif body text.
