Assistant is a clean, modern sans-serif with a geometric foundation balanced by humanist details. Its letterforms are open and legible, with consistent stroke widths that give it a neutral, functional quality without feeling cold or mechanical. The font supports both Hebrew and Latin scripts, which gives it a cosmopolitan background that influences its measured, structured appearance. It works across a range of weights, from thin to extra-bold, making it adaptable without losing its straightforward character. There is nothing flashy about it, which is precisely its strength.
Assistant performs well in digital product interfaces where readability at small sizes matters, such as mobile apps, dashboards, or SaaS platforms. It suits corporate or professional service branding where approachability and clarity are priorities over personality. Editorial contexts like online publications or content-heavy websites also benefit from its legibility across body text and subheadings, especially when a consistent typographic system is needed without heavy customization.
Best suited for: Consider Assistant for digital interfaces, professional branding, and content-driven websites where neutral legibility and functional clarity across multiple weights support systematic design.
Design considerations: The font's seven-weight range and dual-script support make it particularly flexible for multilingual projects and hierarchical typographic systems. Its geometric-humanist balance suits contexts requiring both approachability and measured professionalism without decorative flourishes.
Pairing guidance: Playfair Display can introduce serif contrast and editorial elegance for headlines, Source Sans 3 offers a complementary sans-serif alternative with extended weights for flexible hierarchy, and Space Mono provides monospace distinction for technical content or interface elements requiring code-like clarity.
